Great news for community sport lovers! The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) has opened applications for the Reaching Each and Every One (REEO) Initiative 2025, supported by Sport Canada. This national funding program is here to help organizations make sport more inclusive and accessible across the country.
What’s REEO All About?
The initiative is designed to support nearly 60 non-profit organizations with grants ranging from $2,500 to $25,000. The focus is on creating welcoming, inclusive spaces in recreational sport—especially for:
Indigenous communities
Racialized groups
Persons with disabilities
And anyone who has faced barriers to participating in sport
It’s about breaking down walls and opening doors so that everyone has the chance to play, grow, and thrive.
